The French media group will use the cloud provider's systems to accelerate video indexing and create a multimodal database combining sound, video, and text data, the companies said.
Content classification is designed to provide Canal+ app subscribers with personalized content recommendations based on their viewing habits, the parties said.
Canal+ will also use Google's ( GOOG ) video generation software to provide production partners with tools for scene previsualization and historical recreation, the companies said.
