01:51 PM EDT, 04/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google ( GOOG ) said Monday it was broadening access to its AI Mode tool to millions of more users in the US.

AI Mode was introduced as an early experiment in March to expand on the capabilities of AI-generated overviews. The tool uses advanced reasoning, thinking and multimodal capabilities to bring results to users.

Google ( GOOG ) said AI Mode is equipped with "powerful visual search capabilities" and a custom version of its Gemini large language model.
