09:28 AM EDT, 04/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google ( GOOG ) and Nvidia ( NVDA ) are among the new investors in SandboxAQ's series E funding round that raised more than $450 million, according to the quantum computing startup Friday.

SandboxAQ, which was spun out from Alphabet in 2022, said it has raised more than $950 million in funding.

The startup said it plans to use the investments to accelerate the development of its quantitative AI platforms across biopharma, chemistry, materials science, cybersecurity, and financial services.

Other new investors include Ray Dalio, Horizon Kinetics, and BNP Paribas, SandboxAQ said.
