Alphabet's Google Reportedly Agrees to Pay $339.8 Million to Settle Tax Case in Italy

07:12 AM EST, 02/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google ( GOOG ) has agreed to pay 326 million euros ($339.8 million) to settle a tax evasion case in Italy, news outlets reported Wednesday, citing a statement from Milan prosecutors.

According to the reports, the settlement deal covers Google's ( GOOG ) unpaid taxes for the period 2015 to 2019, along with penalties and interest.

Google ( GOOG ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
