03:47 AM EDT, 04/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google ( GOOG ) and Sphere Entertainment ( SPHR ) entered into a partnership to use generative artificial intelligence technology for "The Wizard of Oz" show at the Sphere event venue, the companies said late Tuesday.

The financial terms of the collaboration weren't disclosed.

The companies aim to use generative AI to enhance the film's resolution and digitally recreate existing characters. Sphere will also use Google Cloud's AI-optimized infrastructure to support the data and computational demands in building the immersive experience, the companies said.
