02:48 PM EDT, 10/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet's (GOOG) (GOOGL) Google ( GOOG ) said Monday it will invest $9 billion in South Carolina through 2027 to expand its Berkeley County data center and support the construction of two new sites in Dorchester County.

The company said the investment would strengthen the state's role as a critical hub for American infrastructure.
