12:38 PM EDT, 09/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet's (GOOG/GOOGL) Waymo launched Waymo for Business, offering its autonomous vehicle service to groups including companies, universities, and event organizers.

About one in six local customers in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Phoenix commute to work or school, Waymo said Wednesday in a statement.

The 24/7 service handles more than 1 million trips a month, the company said. Waymo has collaborated with several employers and universities across its service areas to pilot the new service.
