Alphabet's Wing Collaborating With DoorDash, Brookfield Properties to Launch Drone Delivery in Dallas-Fort Worth Malls

11:17 AM EST, 12/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Wing subsidiary said Wednesday it is launching drone delivery from local malls in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, under a partnership with DoorDash ( DASH ) and Brookfield Properties.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Over 50 merchants will be available for drone delivery through the DoorDash ( DASH ) app, the company said, adding that it will roll out the delivery at Brookfield's Stonebriar Centre in Frisco and Hulen Mall in Fort Worth.

Wing said the partnership expansion follows pilot programs in Melbourne, Australia and Christiansburg, Virginia.
