Alphabet's YouTube Reaches 1 Billion Monthly Podcast Viewers

12:19 PM EST, 02/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) YouTube ( GOOG ) said its monthly active viewers of podcasts topped 1 billion.

"Our investments to improve the podcast experience on YouTube ( GOOG ) are paying off," and the streaming service "is now the most frequently used service for listening to podcasts in the US" with the platform adding more podcasters to its revenue-sharing program, according to a blog post on Wednesday.

Alphabet shares fell 0.4% in recent Wednesday trading.
