07:10 AM EDT, 10/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL) owned YouTube ( GOOG ) said late Thursday Disney (DIS) suspended its content from YouTube TV after negotiations between the companies failed to reach a deal.
YouTube ( GOOG ) said Disney ( DIS ) used "the threat of a blackout" to push for deal terms that would raise prices for YouTube TV customers while benefiting Disney's ( DIS ) own live TV products, including Hulu + Live TV and Fubo.
The company said it continues to seek a "fair agreement" to restore Disney ( DIS ) channels on YouTube TV and will offer subscribers a $20 credit if the content remains unavailable for an extended period.
Disney ( DIS ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
