AltaGas Reports Medium-Term Note Offerings of $600 Million

06:23 AM EDT, 03/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- AltaGas Ltd. ( ATGFF ) overnight Monday reported medium-term note offerings of $600 million.

The company said it has agreed to issue $350 million of senior unsecured medium-term notes with a coupon rate of 5.141%, maturing on March 14, 2034, and $250 million of senior unsecured medium-term notes with a coupon rate of 5.597%, maturing on March 14, 2054.

The offering is expected to close by March 14.

AltaGas ( ATGFF ) intends to use the proceeds to refinance the company's March medium-term note maturities, to pay down other existing debt, to fund working capital, and for general corporate purposes.

Also, the company's board has approved a $0.2975 per share quarterly common share dividend. The dividend will be paid to shareholders of record on March 15 and is payable on March 28.
