04:54 AM EDT, 08/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Altair Engineering ( ALTR ) said Wednesday it has entered an agreement with Oasys, the software house of the Arup network of designers and consultants, to develop a new system for automobile safety simulation and modeling.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

The companies plan to integrate the system into Altair's HyperWorks design and simulation platform, and Oasys' Primer crash safety analysis tool.
