Altair Partners With Aston Martin, Sarginsons in $7.8 Million Project to Build Light, Sustainable Auto Parts

08:41 AM EDT, 09/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Altair Engineering ( ALTR ) said Wednesday that it is partnering with Aston Martin and Sarginsons on a 5.8 million British pound ($7.8 million) project to develop lighter, more sustainable vehicle components using its AI-powered simulation.

The companies plan to use AI-powered engineering to create light-weight, low-carbon emitting recycled cast aluminum structures, Altair said.

The project is funded in part by the UK government's innovation agency, Innovate UK.
