Altius Minerals Expecting 19% drop in Q1 Attributable Royalty Revenue

09:03 AM EDT, 04/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Altius Minerals ( ATUSF ) said Thursday that it expects to report a 19% drop in first-quarter attributable royalty revenue.

Attributable royalty revenue for the first quarter is expected to be $17.4 million, down from $21.4 million in the same quarter last year.

Base & battery metals revenue is expected to be $5.3 million versus $4.9 million a year earlier; Potash revenue of $5.1 million versus $9 million a year ago; and Iron ore revenue of $1.7 million versus $1.9 million a year earlier. Also included is renewable energy revenue of $3.3 million versus $1.3 million. The company is not expecting revenue for thermal coal in Q1.

Interest and other will account for $1.9 million in Q1 attributable royalty revenue, compared with $1.3 million a year earlier, the company said.
