08:31 AM EDT, 06/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alvopetro Energy ( ALVOF ) said overnight Tuesday that its sales dropped 9% month-over-month in May.
The company reported natural gas, natural gas liquids and crude oil sales of 2,334 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) in May, compared to 2,463 boe/d in April and 2,446 boe/d in the first quarter.
The company attributed the decline to turnarounds at both Alvopetro facilities and Bahiagas end user plants, which impacted demand in the month.
Alvopetro said its May sales included the first full month of production from its first two wells drilled in Western Canada, where production exceeded expectations.
Alvopetro also said it is encouraged by the results from the 183-D4 well, which is expected to start production in the third quarter to fuel its production growth in Brazil.
