07:12 AM EDT, 07/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amaroq Minerals ( AMRQF ) , which has gold and strategic mineral assets in Southern Greenland, appointed Ellert Arnarson as chief financial officer beginning in August.

He joins the company from Icelandic bank Landsbankinn, where he is currently head of corporate finance. Previously, he held senior positions at the Pension Fund of Commerce, Iceland's second-largest pension fund, and at GAMMA Capital Management.

Arnason assumes the role from Jaco Crouse who stepped down last month.
