07:31 AM EDT, 10/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amaroq Minerals (AMRQ.V) said Tuesday that gold production at the Nalunaq mine in Greenland aligned with expectations.
Gold production has so far reached about 5000 ounces, in line with the company's revised full-year 2025 production guidance.
Amaroq ( AMRQF ) said it remains on track to achieve nameplate throughput of 300 tonnes per day by year-end 2025.
Meanwhile, the planned shutdown for commissioning activities is expected to commence in the third week of October, with an estimated four-week duration. Once complete, the gravity circuit of the processing facility will be fully automated and major civil works completed, marking the completion of the majority of phase 1 works, Amaroq ( AMRQF ) said.
Phase 2 construction, which comprises the installation of the flotation circuit and equipment, is expected to restart in December after the shutdown and continue until the end of the first quarter of 2026.
Amaroq ( AMRQF ) also said it has completed surface and underground drilling in certain areas of Nalunaq, and the results will be included in the next resource update scheduled for the first quarter of 2026.
"We are ahead of schedule across all key workstreams, a clear testament to the strength and capability of Amaroq's ( AMRQF ) people," chief executive Eldur Olafsson said.
Amaroq's ( AMRQF ) share price gained near 6.8% Monday to 1.57 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
