Amaroq Minerals Initiates First Underground Mining Blast At Nalunaq

06:42 AM EDT, 04/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amaroq Minerals Ltd. ( AMRQF ) , an independent mine development company with a substantial land package of gold and strategic mineral assets in Southern Greenland, earlier on Thursday said it initiated its first underground mining blast at Nalunaq on March 30 at the 720-meter level.

The blast was undertaken within trial mining activities and is a key step toward full commissioning of the Nalunaq mine, the company said.

"Work at Nalunaq is progressing to schedule, with rehabilitation works now complete as we prepare to commence trial mining between 100 and 150tpd from Mountain Block," said Amaroq CEO Eldur Olafsson.
