07:24 AM EDT, 07/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amaroq Minerals (AMRQ.V) on Monday said it has started its 2025 exploration campaign in Greenland.
The company said a multi-rig drilling programme is underway at the Nalunaq gold mine, and a drill mobilisation at Nanoq, the analogous gold prospect east of Nalunaq within the Nanortalik gold belt. The secondary aim of 2025 exploration campaign is to expand understanding across existing and new satellite gold targets within the Nanortalik gold belt.
Regional copper and nickel exploration programmes are also starting across South Greenland and into new licences in the north of the country. Rare earth elements exploration is advancing across the Gardar Igneous Province of South Greenland.
Amaroq ( AMRQF ) said initial reconnaissance has started at the newly bought West Greenland Hub, with further technical and logistical assessments scheduled ahead of a comprehensive exploration programme in 2026.
Shares of the company closed up 2.2% to $1.41 on Friday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
