07:21 AM EDT, 06/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com ( AMZN ) founder Jeff Bezos sold about 1.1 million shares of the company at the end of May, a regulatory filing on Friday showed.

Bezos sold 431,426 shares on May 29 and 667,260 shares on May 30, according to the filing.

Another filing on Friday revealed that about $117 million from the May 30 sale is going to fund Day 1 Academies, a nonprofit preschool that Bezos founded.
