Amazon Launches New Zealand Infrastructure Region

03:58 AM EDT, 09/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon ( AMZN ) said Monday it launched the Amazon Web Services Asia Pacific (New Zealand) region and plans to invest more than 7.5 billion New Zealand dollars ($4.4 billion) in the country.

The investment will support the construction, operation and maintenance of the e-commerce giant's data centers in the country, it said.
