Amazon Leo to Launch 27 More Satellites in Latest Mission

12:48 PM EST, 11/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com ( AMZN ) said Friday its low Earth orbit satellite network, Amazon Leo, will launch 27 additional satellites as part of its seventh mission named LA-04.

The launch will take place at 3:52 am ET on Dec. 15 from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, the company said.

Amazon ( AMZN ) said the upcoming mission, to be conducted by United Launch Alliance using an Atlas V 551 rocket, will bring its total number of deployed satellites to 180.

The mission is Amazon Leo's fourth using an Atlas V rocket and the first since it was renamed from Project Kuiper, the company added.
