06:16 AM EDT, 10/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon ( AMZN ) said Monday it will invest more than 1.4 billion euros ($1.63 billion) in the Netherlands over the next three years.
The funds will support AWS and the retail business, including infrastructure and efforts to help small firms expand at home and abroad, the company said.
More than 4,500 Dutch small and medium businesses sell on Amazon ( AMZN ) and nearly 90% reach customers worldwide across 170 countries, it added.
Amazon ( AMZN ) currently employs over 1,000 people in the country, and research cited by the company estimated its investments supported about 2,000 indirect and 900 induced jobs in 2024, it said.
