02:54 PM EDT, 08/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon ( AMZN ) is planning to offer Whole Foods employees its corporate staff programs, including new pay structure and benefits, multiple media houses reported Wednesday.

With this, Whole Foods employees will get access to Amazon ( AMZN ) discounts and healthcare benefits, but will also loose certain Whole Foods perks like in-store discount and four weeks of remote work per year, reported The Wall Street Journal, citing a company internal memo.

The move is aimed at bring Amazon's ( AMZN ) grocery teams closer together and ease collaboration across divisions like Whole Foods, the Amazon Fresh network and the cashier-less convenience store chain Amazon Go, according to a Reuters report.

Amazon ( AMZN ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
