Amazon Reportedly Trims Staff at Books Division
Jun 6, 2025 4:49 AM

07:18 AM EDT, 06/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com ( AMZN ) has eliminated less than 100 staffers in its books division, including at its Goodreads review site and Kindle units, media outlets reported Thursday, citing the e-commerce giant.

"As part of our ongoing work to make our teams and programs operate more efficiently, and to better align with our business roadmap, we've made the difficult decision to eliminate a small number of roles within the Books organization," the media outlets reported, citing an Amazon ( AMZN ) spokesperson.

The company did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
