09:41 AM EST, 12/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com ( AMZN ) said Tuesday its Black Friday week and the Cyber Monday shopping event were the "biggest ever" Thanksgiving holiday shopping period.

The holiday shopping period, from Nov. 21 through Dec. 2, was the "largest ever" for independent sellers in Amazon's ( AMZN ) store, the company said, adding that over 60% of revenue in its store was from independent sellers.
