July 30 (Reuters) - Amazon.com ( AMZN ) is responsible

under federal safety law for hazardous products sold by

third-party sellers on its platform and bears legal

responsibility for their recall, the U.S. Consumer Product

Safety Commission (CPSC) said on Tuesday.
