01:31 PM EDT, 04/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com ( AMZN ) said Wednesday it is due to begin the first full-scale launch of satellites under Project Kuiper.

The company will send 27 Kuiper satellites into low Earth orbit as its begins a full-scale deployment of its satellite internet network, it said.

The launch is scheduled for April 9 on a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida.
