07:12 AM EDT, 05/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon ( AMZN ) and FedEx ( FDX ) have agreed to support residential deliveries for large packages, multiple media outlets reported Monday, citing company statements and internal documents.
FedEx ( FDX ) will operate as one of Amazon's ( AMZN ) external delivery providers, alongside United Parcel Service ( UPS ) and the US Postal Service, these reports said.
The move comes shortly after UPS announced plans to reduce its Amazon ( AMZN )-related volume and cut 20,000 jobs as part of a broader cost-reduction effort, according to these reports.
Amazon ( AMZN ) and FedEx ( FDX ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
