04:28 AM EDT, 03/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com ( AMZN ) Australia said Wednesday that it plans to invest more than 750 million Australian dollars ($537.3 million) to build Queensland's first robotics fulfilment center.

The 150,000-square-meter, four-story plant, which will eventually employ 1,000 people, furthers plans for faster delivery to Queensland customers, the company said.

The facility is targeted for completion in 2028, the company said.
