02:24 PM EDT, 10/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com's ( AMZN ) Amazon Pharmacy said Wednesday it plans to open pharmacies in 20 new cities across the US next year.

The move will double the number of cities where customers can get same-day delivery of their medications, the Amazon ( AMZN ) division said in a statement.

The new stores will expand fast deliver coverage to Boston, Dallas, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, San Diego, and other metropolitan areas, the company said.
