06:11 AM EDT, 06/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon ( AMZN ) is being investigated by the Groceries Code Adjudicator in the UK for potential payment delays to suppliers, the GCA said Friday.

The investigation will focus on whether Amazon ( AMZN ) breached payment rules from March 2022 to June 2025, based on evidence from multiple sources, the GCA said.

It will examine the impact of payment delays, including Amazon's ( AMZN ) receipt of goods, payment processes and how it manages supplier concerns over deductions, the agency said.

The GCA is calling on suppliers to provide evidence of their experiences, with the investigation closing on Aug. 8, it said.
