Amazon Web Services, GitLab Team Up for Integrated AI Offering in Software Development

02:01 PM EST, 12/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com's ( AMZN ) Amazon Web Services and GitLab's ( GTLB ) said Tuesday they agreed to integrate Amazon Q and GitLab Duo to provide an artificial intelligence-powered software development offering.

The partnership will Combine GitLab's DevSecOps platform with Amazon Q autonomous agents, resulting in faster software developers' workflows, better code quality, and stronger security, the companies said.

"This integration simplifies the development lifecycle, helps organizations maximize their cloud investments, and adapts to the future of AI-assisted software development," said Deepak Singh, vice president, Next-Generation Developer Experience, at AWS.

Further terms of the collaboration weren't disclosed.
