04:49 PM EDT, 06/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com's ( AMZN ) Amazon Web Services unit, Snap (SNAP) and Spotify Technologies ( SPOT ) are facing outages or technical issues Thursday, affecting tens of thousands of users, according to Downdetector.

Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google Cloud unit also appeared to suffer an outage with thousands of users affected.

Downdetector, which gathers outage data from user reports and other sources, logged 13,000 problem reports from users for Google Cloud and 27,000 for Spotify ( SPOT ).

"We are currently investigating a service disruption to some Google Cloud services," a Google Cloud spokesperson said in an emailed statement to MT Newswires.

Google ( GOOG ) said in a status update: "The problem with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Chat, Google Cloud Search, Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Meet, Google Tasks, and Google Voice has been resolved."

Amazon ( AMZN ), Snap and Spotify ( SPOT ) didn't immediately respond to requests for comment.
