01:34 PM EST, 03/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon ( AMZN )-backed (AMZN) Anthropic said Monday it raised $3.5 billion in a series E funding round at a $61.5 billion post-money valuation.

The funding round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and included participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, Cisco Investments, D1 Capital Partners, Fidelity Management & Research, General Catalyst, Jane Street, Menlo Ventures and Salesforce Ventures, the artificial intelligence startup said.
