06:46 AM EST, 12/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com ( AMZN ) said late Tuesday has launched Amazon Nova, a suite of foundation artificial intelligence models that offer capabilities for processing text, images, and video.

Key models include Amazon Nova Micro, which delivers text-only responses, and Amazon Nova Lite, a multimodal model optimized for text, image, and video inputs.

The company also said Amazon Nova Pro for more complex tasks, as well as Amazon Nova Premier for reasoning tasks and custom model creation, which will be available in Q1. Additionally, Amazon Nova Canvas model offers image generation, while Amazon Nova Reel allows the transformation of a single image into a brief video.

Amazon Nova models will be integrated with Amazon Bedrock.

Amazon ( AMZN ) said it plans to introduce more models in 2025, including a speech-to-speech model and an any-to-any multimodal model.
