06:58 AM EDT, 05/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com ( AMZN ) has reduced about 100 jobs in its devices and services unit, news outlets reported Wednesday.

"As part of our ongoing work to make our teams and programs operate more efficiently, and to better align with our product roadmap, we've made the difficult decision to eliminate a small number of roles," Reuters reported, citing a company spokesperson.

Amazon ( AMZN ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

The company's shares were down 1.3% in recent premarket activity.
