09:47 AM EDT, 10/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com ( AMZN ) said Thursday that Prime Big Deal Days was its biggest-ever October shopping event, with more Prime members shopping compared with last year.

More items were also sold during the two-day event compared with prior October shopping events, the company said.

The company added that Prime members saved over $1 billion worldwide in deals that included seasonal merchandise and gifts.
