Amazon.com to Close Serialized Stories Platform Kindle Vella in February

09:16 AM EDT, 10/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com ( AMZN ) is closing its serialized stories platform Kindle Vella in February next year, according to a notice on the company's website.

The service, launched in 2021, "hasn't caught on as we'd hoped," Amazon ( AMZN ) said.

Users will continue to have access to their unlocked stories only in the Kindle app, the company added.
