03:12 PM EST, 03/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com's ( AMZN ) Amazon Web Services said in a blog Tuesday that it is waiving charges on data transfer out to the internet when a customer leaves AWS.
AWS already provides 100 gigabytes of free data transfer from AWS regions to the internet every month, according to the company.
Customers with additional data transfer requirements can contact the company for free data transfer out to the internet rates, AWS added.
The waiver on data transfer is available to all of the company's customers globally, AWS said.
Amazon ( AMZN ) shares were down 2.2% in recent trading.
