10:15 AM EDT, 03/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com's ( AMZN ) self-driving unit Zoox said Tuesday that it will expand its robotaxi service in San Francisco, California and Las Vegas, Nevada.

Zoox said it is focusing on dense, high-demand neighborhoods in in San Francisco, as well as adding the Las Vegas Convention Center and a most of the major hotels to its routes in Las Vegas.

The company also said has started testing its robotaxis in Austin, Texas and Miami, Florida. The service will compete with Tesla's (TSLA) self-driving taxis, as well as Waymo from Alphabet's (GOOG) Google unit.
