05:09 AM EST, 11/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon's ( AMZN ) AWS will become the official cloud provider of golf's global tour, Amazon Web Services and the DP World Tour said Wednesday.

The companies said the partnership will leverage AWS's artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to enhance broadcasts, fan engagement, and tournament operations while supporting the Tour's sustainability goals.

Using AWS's AI infrastructure, the companies said the DP World Tour will combine real-time and historical data to deliver personalized video highlights, real-time shot analysis, and multilingual commentary.

For on-site fans, AWS will expand the Tour's 'Virtual Twin', a digital replica of each course that provides live data and predictive insights, the companies said, adding they will also deploy agentic AI tools like Amazon Bedrock and QuickSight to improve logistics and operations.

Starting in 2026, tournament data and applications will move to AWS as part of the Tour's 'Tournament-as-a-Service' model, to create intelligent, scalable, and consistent events worldwide, it added.
