Amazon's AWS Selected as Preferred Cloud Provider by Iberdrola

12:42 PM EDT, 08/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com's ( AMZN ) Amazon Web Services said Wednesday that Spanish energy company Iberdrola has selected it as its preferred cloud provider for generative artificial intelligence workloads as part of a global partnership.

Iberdrola will use AWS technologies to develop generative AI applications for efficiency, improvement of energy production and personalize customer interactions, according to the statement.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
