01:48 PM EDT, 10/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com's ( AMZN ) motion to dismiss an antitrust lawsuit brought by the Federal Trade Commission and several states was denied in part and granted in part by US District Judge John Chun in Seattle, court documents revealed Monday.

Chun denied Amazon's ( AMZN ) motion to dismiss claims under the Sherman Act and the FTC Act, granted in part and denied in part dismissal of state-law claims and granted a motion to bifurcate.

Amazon ( AMZN ) and the FTC did not immediately reply to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
