05:29 PM EDT, 06/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ambac Financial Group ( AMBC ) said late Monday that the regulatory review of its planned sale of Ambac Assurance Corporation and Ambac Assurance UK to funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management is nearing completion, with a hearing expected in Q3.

The company also said it extended the maturity of its $150 million credit facility with UBS (UBS) to Dec. 31 to maintain financial flexibility during the transition.
