Analysts polled by FactSet expected adjusted net income of $0.03 per share.

Revenue for the quarter ended Oct. 31 was $82.7 million, compared with $50.6 million a year earlier.

Analysts expected $79 million.

For Q4, the company is projecting revenue of $76 million and $80 million.

Analysts are looking for $69.1 million.

Ambarella ( AMBA ) shares rose 22% in after-hours trading.
