07:57 AM EDT, 05/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- AMC Entertainment Holdings ( AMC ) said Wednesday in a regulatory filing it has agreed to issue a total of 23,280,295 shares of its Class A common stock, par value $0.01 per share, in exchange for $163.9 million of its 10%/12% Cash/PIK Toggle Second Lien Subordinated Notes due 2026.

The transaction also accounted for around $6.9 million in accrued interest, setting the implied share value at $7.33 each, the company said in its 8-K filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
