04:48 PM EDT, 04/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- AMC Entertainment Holdings ( AMC ) reported a preliminary Q1 loss late Friday of $0.62 per diluted share, narrower than the loss of $1.71 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect a loss of $0.79.

Preliminary revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was about $951.4 million, down from $954.4 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $861.1 million.

The company said it will report its Q1 results on May 8.
