AMC Networks Upsizes Tender Offer for 2029 Notes to $600 Million

07:58 AM EDT, 07/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- AMC Networks ( AMCX ) said Wednesday it has increased the size of its cash tender offer for its outstanding 4.25% senior notes due 2029 to $600 million from $450 million.

As of the July 1 early tender deadline, holders had offered to sell back approximately $614.4 million worth of notes, surpassing the increased maximum repurchase limit, AMC said. To manage the excess, the company said it will apply a proration factor of 97.7%.

The company will pay $815 for every $1,000 principal amount of the notes accepted, which includes a $50 early tender premium, AMC said.

Payment is expected to be made on Thursday, the company said, adding it does not expect to accept for purchase any notes tendered after the early tender date because the offer is oversubscribed, although the offer is scheduled to expire on July 17.
