Amcor, Berry Global Progress Toward Completion of Merger

07:52 AM EDT, 03/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amcor ( AMCCF ) and Berry Global Group ( BERY ) said

Tuesday the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act expired, meeting a key condition for their merger.

The companies said it received additional regulatory approvals, including antitrust clearances from China and Brazil.

The companies continue to expect the transactions to close in the middle of the calendar year 2025.
